On Hands On Bay Area Day, 800 volunteers from around the Bay Area committed to the challenge to be the
change they seek in their community.
They transformed 4 under-served schools, helped to build 3 homes for low-income families, restored 5 neighborhood parks, sorted food for the hungry
and supported the fight against breast cancer.
Their goal was to do all of this AND raise $29,000 from individuals to support the 300 additional service projects HOBA has planned through the end of 2007. They still need to raise $14,000! Please support their amazing work!
