Lead
Inspire and engage others in meaningful volunteer service.

Commitment to the development of new community leaders is a central part of HandsOn Bay Area (HOBA)’s mission. We encourage emerging community leaders by creating leadership opportunities accessible to all people, while challenging experienced leaders through trainings and fellowships to expand and diversify their abilities.

Project Leaders: Every HOBA volunteer project relies on the leadership of trained Project Leaders. Learn more.

LIFT: Through HOBA’s year-long Leadership Institute Fellowship Teams (LIFT) program, fellows deepen their knowledge of the nonprofit sector and grassroots community organizing. Learn more.

TeamWorks Coaches: Trained volunteer coaches lead 8-15 volunteers through a series of direct-service projects, facilitated reflection and issues education. Learn more.

AmeriCorps Alums Bay Area Chapter: The Bay Area Chapter is a place for National Service Alumnus to meet up, network, socialize and give back.  Together we can all fulfill our commitment to a “Lifetime of Service.” Learn more.
