PROJECT LEADERS ONLY: Behind the Scenes @ Project Open Hand
Join other HandsOn Bay Area Project Leaders at a special volunteer event with Project Open Hand.
Founded in 1985, Project Open Hand began serving nutritious meals to those suffering during the AIDS epidemic. Today, Project Open Hand prepares over 2,500 nutritious meals every day to clients battling serious illnesses, isolation, or the health challenges of aging.
Learn more about Project Open Hand, the AIDS epidemic, and how volunteers are making a difference. Participants will have the opportunity to get a behind the scenes tour of Project Open Hand, speak with the staff to learn more about the history of this great organization, and (of course) volunteer!
If you are a Project Leader, RSVP HERE.
