SPECIAL PROJECT! Spruce up the AIDS Memorial Grove with HandsOn Tomorrow
Join the 2015 cohort of HandsOn Tomorrow (www.handsonbayarea.org/tomorrow) as they exercise their newfound skills and lead this awesome project with The National AIDS Memorial Grove.The mission of the Grove is to provide a healing sanctuary, to increase awareness of this national treasure, and to promote learning and understanding of the human tragedy of the AIDS pandemic. Come and help maintain the grounds of this powerful place of healing and remembrance and celebrate the accomplishments and hard work of our HandsOn Tomorrow community leaders. This project is a wonderful way to spend some time outdoors, meet great people, and preserve this important national monument.
HandsOn Tomorrow is HandsOn Bay Area's premier youth leadership development program that energizes participants to be the change they wish to see in the world. The program equips them to be community leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, so come out and celebrate the accomplishments of this new generation of youth leaders!
Dress Code: Closed toed shoes, outdoor appropriate attire, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
