GARDEN: The Conservatory of Flowers
The Conservatory is a lush living museum filled with orchids, palm trees, and carnivorous plants. Located in Golden Gate Park, this historic national landmark is one of the most photographed and beloved attractions in San Francisco. Volunteers will get a behind the scenes look, while helping to keep it beautiful both inside and out. Work will involve landscaping outdoors, sweeping, cleaning pots, and occasionally helping with special exhibit installation.
Volunteers are asked to bring gloves if they have them. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required as are energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to get dirty! Come rain or shine!
