GARDEN: Sutro Stewards (Nursery)
Enjoy a morning of Stewardship at the Sutro Nursery! Sutro Stewards aims to create urban recreational opportunities while practicing sustainable habitat conservation through stewardship.
Nursery activities include seed collection and sowing, transplanting plants, pot washing, tending to demonstration gardens, or planting and weeding out on the mountain, depending on the needs of the day. Tools and instruction provided! No experience necessary.
Please review Sutro Stewards Volunteer Information Packet and waivers. Youth volunteers will need to complete a HandsOn Bay Area minor consent form prior to the project (minor consent form). If you would like to volunteer with a group larger than 4, email events@sutrostewards.org.
