Project Overview

Join San Francisco AIDS Foundation and Syringe Access Services (SAS) in improving the health of the community. Help individuals be safer, promote health, and reduce rates of new HIV and HepC infections in the community.

Volunteers will join others in assembling harm reduction supplies and learning about SAS’s evidence-based work.

About San Francisco AIDS Foundation

Founded in 1982, San Francisco AIDS Foundation promotes health, wellness, and social justice for communities most impacted by HIV. Every year, they provide direct services to more than 25,000 people in the San Francisco Bay Area and millions more with access to educational materials online.

Project Requirements & Important Notes

• All volunteers are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received all eligible booster shots. Vaccination documentation is required to volunteer.

• Volunteers are required to wear a mask that covers both their nose and mouth for the entire duration of the volunteer time

• Volunteers must wear closed toes shoes

• Please do your part in keeping our community healthy. If you are immuno-compromised, at increased risk for severe illness, or feeling sick at all, please decline your registration to the event and register for a project at a less risky time.
