NEW PROJECT! SPRUCE UP California Rare Fruit Growers (Saturdays)

California Rare Fruit Growers maintains a stone fruit and fig orchard at Emma Prusch Farm Park in San Jose. Orchard tasks may include weeding, watering, mulching, building basins, pruning, thinning. On occasion there may be new trees to plant, old trees to remove, or new varieties to graft onto existing trees. Tasks will vary from month to month depending on what is needed.

Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes, and dress for varying weather.Gardening gloves are good to bring if you have them. Please bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and gardening gloves (if you have them.)
