NEW PROJECT! Sports Skills Drills with ROCK
Real Options for City Kids (ROCK) is dedicated to nurturing the healthy development of children in Visitacion Valley by listening attentively to their needs and by providing opportunities to those who might not otherwise have access.
ROCK needs volunteers to help with Skill Drills. This is a sports skill development program for boys and girls in 1st-5th grade. These fun, introductory sports clinics focus on three rotating sports including soccer, basketball and volleyball during the school year. A program specialist will assist volunteers in leading participants through non-competitive skill development exercises and team building activities. Be prepared to get a good workout and have fun!
Volunteers should dress in comfortable active wear with athletic shoes. Clothing must be appropriate to wear around kids.
