GO GREEN at Eastshore State Park

Description: On Be The Change Day, volunteers will remove invasive plants to make room for native species and reduce fire danger in Eastshore State Park, a former garbage dump that is now an open public space along the Berkeley waterfront. Learn how this former garbage landfill is being restored for wildlife and recreation on a short interpretive walk to the work site.

Please wear comfortable clothing in layers, that you don’t mind getting dirty, and closed-toe athletic shoes or hiking/work boots (no open-toe or slip-on shoes).
