Description:
On Be The Change Day, volunteers will help in the maintenance of San Jose’s beautiful Heritage Rose Garden by weeding, mulching, pruning, and doing light repair of facilities. The garden is maintained by the Guadalupe River Park and Gardens, a community organization whose mission is to develop and maintain the garden and provide educational programs. Help preserve these rare plants for the benefit of the community.
Please wear comfortable clothing in layers, that you don’t mind getting dirty, and closed-toe athletic shoes or hiking/work boots (no open-toe or slip-on shoes). (South Bay: San Jose)

Volunteer Minimum Age: 12
- Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a supervising parent or guardian with an active HOBA account. Email goodforfamilies@hoba.org to register your child.
- Ages 16 to 17 must bring a signed parent/guardian consent form.
