North Bay Fires: How you can help
The fires in the North Bay have caused historic damage and the forced evacuation of thousands of residents. Many of us have family or friends in the North Bay or have explored its beauty. Here are some helpful resources for how you can help.
Drop-off donations to HandsOn Bay Area
HandsOn Bay Area is working closely with North Bay organizations to collect and deliver the following essential items. New and packaged items are highly preferred.
Gift Cards: Safeway, Target, CVS, Walmart, VISA, etc
Hygiene supplies: Shampoo, condition, shaving cream, kleenex, diapers, tampons, pads, brushes, hair ties,
Animal supplies: Crates of all sizes, pet bowls, zipties, litter boxes (disposable preferred), litter, animal food, towels, beds, leashes
Food: Non-perishable, ready to eat food. No glass containers
Clothing: Socks, underwear, diapers
Other: Large plastic bins, trash bags, flashlights, batteries, cell phone chargers
Donations taken M-F 9am-5pm 10/13 through 10/17/2017. HandsOn Bay Area is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
