GARDEN: Heron's Head Park Ecocenter
Heron's Head Park is home to over 100 species of birds and an off-the grid sustainable learning center. Join us every 1st Friday of the month and learn about the EcoCenter and Parks robust ecosystem. Volunteer tasks include invasive species removal, mulch application, watering and planting(seasonally). Come prepared with closed-toed shoes and dress in layers. No experience necessary. Youth under 14 must be accompanied by a chaperone. All volunteers are required to sign a waiver. Tools, water and light snacks are provided. Meet at the stump circle in front of the EcoCenter.
