HELP OUT: Feed + Fuel Chinatown 2.0
Help save Chinatown businesses and give back to this vibrant community at Feed + Fuel 2.0! SF New Deal and the Chinatown Community Development Center are relaunching their innovative response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Feed + Fuel program, which supports Chinatown's legacy restaurants by providing meal vouchers to eligible SRO residents. Volunteers will support the voucher distribution site by checking participants in and providing the meal voucher packet; or they can assist with confirming enrollment, directing residents to the appropriate areas for check-in, and answering any questions they may have. PLEASE NOTE: Cantonese speakers are preferred and strongly encouraged to apply for this position! (Toisanese speakers GREATLY appreciated) Please do your part in keeping our community healthy, if you are immuno-compromised, at increased risk for severe illness, or feeling sick at all, please decline your registration to the event and register your project at a less risky time.
