San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

Founded in 1868, the SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. The S.F. SPCA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which works for animal welfare. The agency provides shelter and veterinary care to adoptable dogs and cats, promotes responsible pet ownership, and offers training classes for puppies and grown dogs.
