HABITAT RESTORATION: Pacifica Beach Coalition
The Pacifica Beach Coalition is dedicated to preserving the ocean, coastal habitat, and wildlife, and ending litter through advocacy, education, community building, and citizen action.
Come help restore the natural habitat areas along beautiful Linda Mar and Rockaway beach.
First Fridays: Help expand the toe-hold of native plants the PCB has been planting along the hillside of Rockaway Beach. Volunteers will be help with planting native plants, pulling invasive weeds, and sheet mulching. This hillside is also a great spot to watch migrating whales!
Fourth Sundays: Linda Mar beach is a wintering spot for the endangered Snowy Plover bird. Learn about coastal native plants and habitat restoration. Volunteers will help remove invasive weeds and pick up trash, while enjoying the beautiful beach views and fresh ocean air.
