HABITAT RESTORATION: Pacific Beach Coalition
The Pacifica Beach Coalition is dedicated to preserving the ocean, coastal habitat, and wildlife, and ending litter through advocacy, education, community building, and citizen action.
Come help restore the natural habitat areas along beautiful Linda Mar and Rockaway beach.
Fourth Sundays: Linda Mar beach is a wintering spot for the endangered Snowy Plover bird. Learn about coastal native plants and habitat restoration. Volunteers will help remove invasive weeds and pick up trash, while enjoying the beautiful beach views and fresh ocean air. Note: The HR dates move to the 3rd Saturday for January, April and September to coincide with MLK Day of Service, Earth Day and Coastal Cleanup day.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 12+, Minimum Age:14+
