GARDEN: Visitacion Valley Greenway
Visitacion Valley Greenway was founded to revitalize the neighborhood by creating recreational green spaces for community use, pedestrian pathways, and places to educate local youth and the community about natural sciences, nutrition, and horticulture, environmental issues and advocacy.
Come help out at the Visitacion Valley Greenway at their Community Garden. The Community Garden doubles as an outdoor classroom, and hosts an herb garden right across the street. Volunteers will help with upkeep, beautification with various projects such as weeding and planting.
