HABITAT RESTORATION: Spawners

The San Pablo Watershed Neighbors Education & Restoration Society (SPAWNERS) aims to protect the San Pablo Creek Watershed and inspire community appreciation and stewardship through advocacy, education, and habitat restoration.

The SPAWNERS restoration and outreach project connects community members of all ages to their natural spaces, provides hands-on ecosystem education and restoration fundamentals, and fosters appreciation and stewardship of the San Pablo Creek Watershed. Every 3rd Saturday, join them at one of their El Sobrante sites to learn about native California habitats and get your hands dirty protecting urbanized creeks! Throughout the year they meet to remove invasive plants, plant native ones, and reduce erosion, creating habitat for birds and wildlife.
