GARDEN: Nature in the City @ Adah's Stairway
Adah’s Stairway is named for San Francisco's very own walking guru and author of the Stairway Walks in San Francisco, Adah Bakalinsky. Nature in the City’s team of local naturalists and educators are working with neighbors to care for this public place and create a habitat sanctuary or the many songbirds and insects that visit and make nests here!
Come lend a hand at this beautiful space, helping out with planting, heavy and light pruning, weeding, moving cobblestone, and watering––be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get dirty!
Make sure you bring water and heavy shoes. Pasteries will be provided for the volunteers!
