HELP OUT: San Francisco AIDS Foundation

sf aids foundation

The SF AIDS Foundation’s Syringe Access Services and 6th Street Harm Reduction Center invite you to pack safer sex and safer injection kits and to assemble overdose response kits to get NALOXONE into the hands of people who need it most in our city. Our program and the supplies you help pack fight the spread of HIV and Hepatitis C.  Your work helps us connect folks to social services, medical care, substance use counseling, and pathways to health and healing.  Your volunteer work will, quite literally, save a life.  Overdose is now the leading cause of accidental death in the United States. HOBA nights with SFAF include conversation about our programming and space to enjoy the company of other volunteers as you pack kits around a table.  We look forward to meeting you!
Volunteers will package supplies for later distribution at mobile sites, our multi service harm reduction center, and during street outreach.
