HELP OUT: Story Hour with Project READ

Project READ's Story Hour program offered an evening of fun with puppet shows, songs, crafts, snacks, and books to take home that youth participants and their families looked forward to attending each month. While these in-person events are currently on hold, Project READ is excited to continue the educational and exciting read aloud activities through their Virtual Story Hour!

Volunteers will help create a magical experience for our at-home Story Hour participants! Help us to prep and organize craft kits that will be used during our virtual read aloud events. Volunteers will help with cutting, sorting, and organizing different arts and crafts supplies. These supplies will then be packed into individual bags along with instructions to be sent home to our participants in preparation for an exciting night in.

Project READ has been fueling the fire of hope through literacy since 1987. This free, volunteer-ran program serves individuals of all ages to promote a lifelong love of learning by centering literacy as the foundation of opportunity and success.
