GARDEN: Fresh Approach East Palo Alto Compost Hub Volunteer

Project Overview

Our Community Compost Hub at Collective Roots Community Garden in East Palo Alto allows folks to divert their compostable food waste into gardening compost to grow nourishing fruits and vegetables! Volunteering will consist of assisting with food scrap collections and compost integrations, so please be prepared for strong smells and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Volunteers will support this project by integrating food scraps into a compost pile, sifting compost, and more!
