SERVE FOOD: Loaves and Fishes

While many people in the Bay Area are fortunate enough to have access to nutritious food year-round, the economic success of the region is making it increasingly difficult for low-income families to keep up with basic-expenses. In fact, 26.8% of the area population faces food insecurity on a daily basis. Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen prepares and delivers over half a million nutritious meals each year to disadvantaged individuals, with a special focus on families, seniors, and the homeless.
Volunteers will prep fruits and vegetables, serve hot meals, pour beverages, wash dishes, and tidy-up the site facility.
