RESTORE HABITAT at Lake Merritt

Come out and join other volunteers as we spend the morning working with the Lake Merritt Institute to clean up the Lake Merritt shore and waterway. The Lake Merritt Institute is dedicated to keeping the lake clean and beautiful for the residents and animals.

We meet on the 2nd floor of the Sailboat Clubhouse.  It's the first big, blue building on the right.
Go up the stairs at the end of the parking lot.  If you see the duck pond, you have gone about 100 yards too far.

The city now charges to enter the park, but if volunteers declare that they are volunteering to clean the lake, they should get in free.  Please be on time or the group may leave.

If you have time, check out the video on volunteering from Lake Merritt:  http://youtu.be/_mo5yUhhzn4
