Root Division

Root Division's mission is to empower artists, promote community service, inspire youth, and enrich the Bay Area through engagement in the visual arts. They recruit, train, and place artists to teach free art to classes in one of six after-school partner programs, creating a link between artists and the schools community. They also provide studio space at below market rates and valuable professional & creative development opportunities to local artists in exchange for service in the organization.
