San Francisco Education Fund

San Francisco School Volunteers recruits, trains and links 3,000 community and business volunteers with students in over 100 schools. The organization's innovative programs provide students with the most important service that our overburdened educational system cannot always deliver?one-to-one interaction with an adult. San Francisco School Volunteers has taken school volunteering to a higher level. The volunteers tutor students in reading and math, wire classrooms and schools, create art programs, and assist in the computer lab.
