San Francisco Unified School District - Everett Middle School

Everett Middle School, located between the Mission and Castro neighborhoods, promotes a college-readiness culture through rigorous academic classes. Our school offers a Spanish immersion program and serves newcomer students from all over the world. We strongly believe parents are our partners in the education of every student and encourage their participation. Everett is dedicated to providing each student with an equal opportunity to succeed by promoting intellectual growth, creativity, self-discipline, cultural and linguistic sensitivity, democratic responsibility, and physical and mental health.Everett Middle School has an energetic and caring faculty which provides quality instruction to all students. The teachers work in teams to develop a motivating, activity-based instructional program. The academic program is enriched by many Honors classes at the 7th and 8th grade level, and all eighth graders are required to take algebra. Clearly defined student expectations help to keep the school environment safe and focused on learning. A state-of-the-art computer lab promotes the integration of technology across the curriculum at every grade. Many after-school programs are available at Everett through the Beacon Community Center.
