San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department - McKinley Square

McKinley Square is a gorgeous open space because of the hillside behind it. It is great to come here and appreciate the area's natural beauty. If you have kids, there is a wonderful playground here. It is in very good shape and it has a big sand pit. This is an equally nice place for a picnic, or to kick a soccer ball around, whatever suits your fancy! Dog owners will enjoy taking their dogs here and letting them roam around. There are beautiful cypress trees to appreciate as well as a community garden.
