East Side Union High School District - Independence High School

The mission of Independence High School is to provide a supportive learning environment that enables all students to achieve academic success. Independence High School is a magnet high school in eastern portion of San Jose. It is located in a community that is a predominantly minority/lower income area. Independence is fortunate to have many excellent programs and resources so that it attracts talented students from other communities. Because of this, the student body at Independence is has a great mixture of students from a wide variety of backgrounds.
