San Francisco Unified School District - Mission High School

Mission High School has the distinction of being the first comprehensive high school in San Francisco and the first such school west of the Rocky Mountains. The first building was formally dedicated in 1897. Mission High School is proud of its rich history and we have our very own museum on campus which takes visitors on a journey through the history of San Francisco as seen from the heart of the city. We instill positive social values, acceptance and an appreciation of the diversity represented at Mission.Our academic focus school-wide is aimed at preparing ALL of our students for college and careers with rigorous courses and an array of AP classes.
