Housing Matters

Housing Matters partners with individuals and families to create pathways out of their homelessness and into permanent housing.They hold firmly to a vision that homelessness in Santa Cruz County should be rare, brief, and non-recurring. Collectively, Housing Matters’ four shelters provide beds for about 200 individuals on any given night, which are nearly half of the beds available in all of Santa Cruz County.
